Night call-outs for shops
Shop windows often break at night: vandalism, attempted break-in, accident. The police, the alarm or a neighbour alerts you, and it has to be closed before morning.
We answer 24/7 on 621 140 705. The technician removes pieces that could fall onto the pavement, then closes the opening with a solid panel. Your stock is protected and the pavement is safe for passers-by.
- Call or WhatsApp — Describe the window: rough size, floor, access. A photo helps us prepare the right panel.
- Price upfront — The price of securing is given before the technician sets off.
- Securing — Shards removed, area cleaned, closing panel fixed. The shop is shut and the pavement clear.
- Replacement — Measurements, choice of glass, fitting once delivered. Detailed invoice with photos for your insurer.
Break-in or vandalism: inform the Police grand-ducale (113) and photograph the window before any work. Your insurer may ask for the police report.
Laminated and burglar-resistant glass (EN 356)
A shop window is replaced with laminated glass (EN 14449): two or more panes bonded by an interlayer. When it breaks, it stays in place and does not injure passers-by.
If you want to slow down break-ins, EN 356 classifies laminated glass by resistance. Classes P1A to P5A resist impact; P6B to P8B resist repeated axe blows. For an exposed shop window, P4A or higher is a good starting point. We advise you based on your trade, location and any insurer requirements.
Security shutters and access
Many shops around the Gare, Grand-Rue or Ville-Haute have a metal security shutter. If it is damaged or jammed after the incident, say so when you call: it changes how the job is organised.
If the door lock was forced too, the same team handles it: see forced lock.
Prices
Securing has a starting price given before we travel. Replacing a shop window depends on size, glass class and access: it is confirmed from photos and measurements before ordering. No surprises on the invoice.

Frequently asked questions
Can you come in the middle of the night?
Yes. We answer 24/7. At night we secure the window so the shop is closed and the pavement is safe. The final glass is fitted afterwards.
Which glass for a shop window?
Laminated glass as a minimum. To limit break-ins, glass classified under EN 356, P4A or higher for an exposed window. We advise you based on your situation.
Should I wait for the police before securing?
For a break-in or vandalism, inform the police and take photos. If you are allowed to secure, we go ahead; otherwise we wait for the police report.
Will I get an invoice for the insurer?
Yes: a detailed invoice (glass type, dimensions, labour) and before/after photos.
