Plumber in Bonnevoie, north and south
In Bonnevoie, an old town house split into three flats can stand next to a residence that has just been finished. They have different pipes and different faults, and we work in both, from Verlorenkost to the Route de Thionville.

- 1-month guarantee on unblocking
- Emergency: on site within 2 hours, anywhere in Luxembourg

Town houses split into flats
Much of Bonnevoie is made of narrow town houses on two or three floors that have been divided into flats. Each floor has its own kitchen and bathroom, but the drainage is still the original house’s: a single pipe running down to the cellar and out to the sewer in the street.
The result: when that pipe blocks at the bottom, the cellar or the ground-floor flat often takes everyone else’s water. Because nobody feels responsible for it, the problem drags on. It is better to tell the owner or the syndic at the first backflow.
The new residences
Bonnevoie is also being rebuilt: some old houses have been replaced by small residences with wall-hung toilets, PVC waste pipes and underground parking. Faults there are more local: a concealed flush that keeps running, a blocked walk-in shower drain, a leaking hose under a vanity unit.
In these buildings the developer’s warranty may still apply. If you think a fault comes from the construction, tell the syndic before calling anyone in. In an emergency (leak, blocked toilet) we come out and give you an itemised invoice and photos.
What we are asked for most in Bonnevoie
- Cellar or ground floor backing up: we clear the drain out to the street by high-pressure jetting up to 200 bar, then run a camera inspection to look for roots, a sag or deposits. See blocked drain.
- Blocked kitchen sink in an older flat: set grease in a long branch pipe. See blocked sink.
- Blocked toilet, floor-standing in older homes, wall-hung in new ones. See blocked toilet.
- Water leaks on a joint, hose or cistern. See water leak.
Unblocking guaranteed for 1 month: if the same drain blocks again within the month, we come back free of charge.
North or south Bonnevoie: finding you
Bonnevoie is separated from the Gare district by the railway lines. To the north, Verlorenkost slopes down towards Pulvermühl and Grund. In the middle, Rue de Bonnevoie leads to Place Léon XIII, not far from the Rotondes. To the south, Route de Thionville and Rue de Hesperange carry on towards Howald.
Give us the street, the number and one of these landmarks, plus the floor and the name on the doorbell. A photo of the problem on WhatsApp helps us give you the price sooner.

Frequently asked questions
Water is coming out of the cellar floor drain. What should I do?
Stop using water in the house, tell the other occupants and the owner, and call us. The drain to the street is blocked: we clear it and can check it with a camera.
Our house is split into flats. Who pays if the shared pipe is blocked?
Usually the owner or the co-owners, not a single tenant. Our report, the before/after photos and the itemised invoice show where the blockage was.
Our residence is new. Can you still come?
Yes, for an emergency. If you suspect a construction defect, tell the syndic as well: our report and photos will help them.
Do you come to Bonnevoie in the evening or at weekends?
Yes, 24/7. The price is given on the phone before we travel, and that is the price you pay.
